I can't add content into the dynamic panel in top third of the panel.

Solved

I have to drag the image further down in the panel then use keyboard to get it where i want it. if i drag it in the top third of the panel its not added.

This always happens and i cant work out why.

Is the 'grey box' that is below that icon inside the dynamic panel? You can check that by selecting that box and looking at the Outline view.

Yup it is... Its like there is just a certain area of the screen that i cant add things into the panel! It happens on many screens for different panels?
