How to embed Youtube video without scrollbars

How can I embed a Youtube video without scrollbars? I'm using an HTML widget. Whenever I first create it, there are no scrollbars, but as soon as I start to move or resize the widget, scrollbars appear and I can't get rid of them any more. I've tried adding a scrollbars="no" in the tag but that doesn't help.

The HTML widget is just a region where you render some HTML code. So if you make the widget smaller, what you are making smaller is just the widget, not the HTML code you put inside. So you need to change the HTML code as well. There must be some part of your HTML code where it says what is the size of your youtube video.

I inserted below iframe code as a HTML code and the Vimeo (or YouTube) video is correctly shown - when I SIMULATE my prototype. But when I PUBLISH ONLINE my GUI prototype - the Vimeo (and YouTube) videos are not shown... Why is this??

iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/83846515" width="500" height="281" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen

The above Vimeo iframe code does show the iframe - but not the Vimeo video. See here the attached screendump that I made of the 2 missing embedded videoes...

SIMULATE - videos are shown correctly:

PUBLISHED - videos are missing in the live prototype:

So can somebody help me spot - and correct the problem om my prototype?

Can I maybe send the link to my prototype - so that you can look at it?? :-)

Hi,

if you copy the code that Vimeo gives to you to embed the video, you can see that it's missing the "http:" in the source code of the iframe. I share with you the correct code.

Best regards

iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/8384651..." width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen>

Vimeo.

Hi again. But I did realize earlier that I had to add the https: code to the URL.

Still it does not work - as described above... So what is the problem then??

Videos show up in SIMULATE mode - but not in PUBLISHED mode...

Could there maybe be a block on external content while in PUBLISH mode?

Or could there be an error in how videos are shown in the PUBLISH mode?

Hi Bjarne,

does a shield appear on the top right? If yes, click on it and allow to execute the script.
