How to best work in parallel on one prototype

We have a big application with - let's just say - 50 screens and 100 sub-screens. Me and my 5 other colleagues need to work on different screens and sometimes on different parts (tabs) within the same screen in parallel.

We intend to keep the prototype file under version control.

There's a good chance that 3 people will be working on different screens in the prototype. Each working over 2 days before finally wanting to "check-in" their work.

What is the best way to work in parallel?

I know that there are import and export functions ... but still haven't managed to figure out best practice. Some are afraid that their changes migh conflict with changes made by another colleague.

It's unfortunate that one cannot "check out" certain screens or parts of a JIM prototype. Or is there a way?

We constantly need to update our prototype as requirements become clearer. Some updates are quick and some may take 2 days.

Hmm ... a bit afraid to install a beta version on my notebook as I am working heavily with the 4.6 prototyper. I installed it on my home notebook, but because I have previously tried Prototyper 4.4, it says that my license is expired. Can I have a license to try out the Prototyper 5.0 Beta?

Is there a user manual for the 5.0? I need to know more about how the teamwork feature works.

Would I be able to host the shared prototype in our own network? Privacy is of concern.

Can I lock certain screens for editing?

Can I work offline and upload / unlock the updated screens?

Can I move around screens to different parts of the screen tree?

Please ask for an extended license to jim dot development at justinmind dot com. Prototyper 5 Beta includes a complete user guide under the option Help -> Help Contents.

You will be able to host shared prototypes in your own network if you choose Usernote onSite.
