How to add (combine) data masters, Date manipulation for iOS

I have a scratch/swap data master that I'm using for temporary storage and manipulation and whatnot, and I want to add its contents into another data master. Neither data master has an onscreen data grid presence when this is due to occur. I've tried using the 'New' command to create new rows, and using the select command to get a list to put into those cells, but no dice. How would I do this?

Secondly, are there any tutorials that deal with manipulation of dates and how to run comparative logic on items with different date fields?

Thirdly, is there an issue with iOS and date formats? Prototyper Pro uses MM/DD/YYYY and iOS uses YYYY-MM-DD as far as I can see. Is there a way to correct this?

Once I've got the data masters nailed then I need to add time based organisation and logic to this prototype so I'm a little worried about this format discrepancy. What is the value of storing date data as a date format, rather than a text string?

Thanks

1. May I know why you don't combine all data into one data master?

2. You can download the Rent a Car example and open Dates selection screen.

3. take a look at this: http://www.justinmind.com/usernote/te...

I'll try doing that but be prepared for an influx of questions! My prototype is quite complex, substantially more so than the tutorials...
