Getting a "Connection error" message

When I try to open my prototype on my mobile device I receive a "Connection Error: It has been impossible to reach Justinmind's server" message. Is there an easy fix to this?

Hi Henry,

Do you get this message when clicking on "View on device", when selecting a prototype from the list or when downloading the list of available prototypes?

Also, on which device are you testing this?

Hi,

So I uploaded my prototype so now I'm able to see it in "my prototypes" list on the app. However when I open the prototype it's not functioning. When I tap a button the key board comes up instead of linking me to the next page. My sister is able to simulate on her app properly. Any suggestions?

Hi Henry,

Can you tell me what happens when you type on the keyboard if the pressed widget is a button?

Are you still getting the "connection error" message? What did you do to solve it if you aren't getting the message any more?

I'm not getting the connection error message since I put the prototype into my prototype list. But when I download the prototype off the list it doesn't function properly. When I tap a widget to bring me to a new screen the keyboard comes up but typing on it does nothing. So I'm stuck on the first screen with a useless keyboard.

Hi Henry,

Can you send over the .vp file to jim dot support at justinmind dot com so we can look into it with more detail?

I just got exactly the same error. I made an iPhone prototype, and then I made a duplicate for Android. It seems like you can not use iPhone native elements on Android prototypes.
