Font size does not work correctly for labels and rich text formatted texts...

Hi,

we are just trying some prototyping tools and also justinmind seems to do a good job.

But there is a question about the font size.

I created a Label field and a RTF field and wrote some text into it.

Then I set both to 12 pt - but the label seems to be abotu 2 pt taller than the rtf. Both have 12 pt as font size..

What am I doin wrong? We would need the font size to be the same everywhere..

Also tjhe size of 12 pt in the rtf field is automatically set back to 10 or 11 pt...

Maybe this other thread might help you understand why they're different:

Hi!

Thank you for your reply.

I'm sorry but the other topic isn't very helpful. The screenshot above was created only in justinmind and not in photoshop.

justinmind seems to have other sizes in LABEL and RTF - fields - this is what I'm trying to understand...

When you say RTF you mean the rich text widget? I thought you were talking about some kind of HTML embedded. If you are using the rich text widget then I don't understand what's happening. Could you send us an example to jim.support at justinmind.com so we can understand the problem better please?

Now we have it. We doesn't seem to be able to reproduce the error. What we've seen from your screenshots is that you use big font size in your operative system. Sadly, Prototyper doesn't support big font size so you need to restore the font size of your Windows to 100%.

The other thing we saw is that you're working with a 150% zoom level. That's ok, but just notice that when you edit a text, the zoom is not applied until you finish editing.

Oh.. I did not realize that the settings here are 125%. You are right..

I will test again later, thank you for your hint.

Hello Victor,

you were right, the font sizes are the same now (Label Richt text) with windows font settings 100%

Only one thing is remaining, tall letters in the rich text widget still cause problems:

Thanks for your support, I can now continue to test your product.

You need to change the line height of the rich text using the properties panel.
