External Address functionality broken in version 4.6.0

Solved

Links that point to external addresses no longer work when publishing projects using version 4.6.0. When a project is republished, the external address is preceded by the address of the page the URL is embedded in, making the link unusable.

Furthermore, setting the "Link to - External Address" action for "on Click" events reverts to the Internal Screen option.

Most of my projects use the External Address functionality. Can you please fix this issue or at least suggest a workaround?

Thank you.

We'll fix it asap. Thanks for reporting. Meanwhile you can try to use the widget URL in the last group of widgets.

Thanks, will do. Can you provide an estimate of when the patch will be made available?

I'm afraid I can't tell you right now. But I will as soon as I know.

We are getting an emergency update ready and we plan to launch it in two weeks or so. We apologize for the inconveniences.

Is that emergency update ready? I tried using the "HTML" widget which an official rep suggested, and it's horrible. The widget is always in front, you have to undo scroll bars, it does not show an image, etc. Basically, I have to learn HTML from scratch to create a label that links to another web page.

Nearly ready. Are you interested in beta test it? Meanwhile you can use the 'url' widget instead of the 'HTML' widget.

Thanks. I'd be happy to beta test. I used the URL widget. It is better for me than the HTML widget. Thank you.

Hello, I would love to beta test this widget. I'm stuck and cannot create a link to or imbed html to get to any external page.
