When exporting HTML, I keep getting the following error: "Access to specified path is denied." Am wondering if this is because I'm using an extended trial license? Please advise and many thanks!
No, the problem isn't related with your extended trial license. In which folder are you trying to export the HTML? Do you have permissions to write in this folder?
Thanks for the reply ... It happens with any folder unfortunately.
Does this problem happens with every prototype or just with a single one?
So far, I am only working on one prototype, but it has worked in the past. I worked on the prototype for 2 days without exporting and just noticed the error yesterday.
Please could you create a new empty prototype, drag&drop some widgets to the canvas and try if the export to HTML option works for a simple prototype?
Ok ... I created a new prototype and exported it fine. I think I have narrowed the problem to the HTML Website widget. It seems to not want to export a prototype when I reference an HTML site from my hard drive. Any thoughts on what I can do as this will be very important for us to do. Many thanks!
You are right the export fails if a HTML Website widget is added to a prototype. We will take a look to figure out what's happening, I will let you know when we know something more about it.
Ok, finally we found the problem. When the application is exporting the HTML needs to copy the HTML Website files into the exported folder but this step it's failing. We fixed the issue and it will be working properly in the next update planned to be released in few weeks.
Carles ... any idea of a timeframe on the next release? Many thanks!
If nothing unexpected happens the next version will be released on November 7th.
Great ... thanks!
