Error: Token is invalid?

Solved

When my boss sent me a link to create an account, I filled out the form and checked the TOS box, and when I click submit, I get this error:

We have no idea what this means, or how to fix it! Help!

I am having the exact same problem!!!

Boss added me as a user on company usernote account. I click on the link in the email...create password and get this error!

I forgot to mention, he's sent me two links to create an account, and both give me the same error.

I answered this question by email but here it is again.

Two ways to make user a publisher.

First, creating a new user and clicking the 'Make this user publisher' checkbox.

Second, not clicking 'Make this user publisher' checkbox but rather when a user is created, clicking on the user's name in Users tab and clicking the 'Make this user a publisher' link under User actions section.

NOTE: the second option is the one that gives the error: "Error: the token is invalid."

Here's what you should do. Sign in to Usernote and in Users tab delete all the users that are publishers.

Then do the first option above. a3e7418e5902b3da6a065d7e2c2d22d4

Hi, having the same problem but the solution above doesn't help. I have deleted and re-created the user a couple of times already, but the team member still sees the same error.

Yeah, didn't work for me either.

Had the other user signing up for a usernote separately now and the error changed from "invalid Token" to "Unknown Error"

OK, figured it out: When the user is being created you also cannot add him/her to a group. At least not immediately. Maybe it works after passing all those errors, but I am afraid to make any changes now...

Hi,

this error has been solved and now Usernote works fine.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
