Dynamic panels do not show on specification report

I am creating a specification report. One of my screens has a dynamic panel with 9 panels. Is it possible to have these tabs show on the specification report? I would like to show all of the comments about the fields shown on the dynamic panels.

Ok. I have this one figured out. On the screen with the dynamic panels, select the panel that you wish to show and duplicate the screen. Save it under a different name such as the screen name and panel number. Enter the comments that you wish to appear. Repeat for each different panel. When you print the specification report the comments for each panel will print. Please note that you should select the original screen when changing the panels and to put comments on the newly created screens not the original panels.

There is no need to duplicate the screens. You can do it selecting Reports -> Customized and then in the 'configuration' section select the option 'generate a screen capture for each dynamic panel'

Victor: Thanks for the quick reply. I did try that first but no success. I only get the first panel in the specification report. I will do some more testing later today and see if it is something in my model that is causing problems.

No success. I made a new model with 2 dynamic panels. The first page of the specification prints correctly with Panel 1 but only blank pages after. Could the standard report template be not working?

I did a quick test and it seems to be working fine. Could you try to download this example http://d2ld3he4yll0xl.cloudfront.net/... and generate the document?

I downloaded the example and ran a report. The pages in the report are as follows.

1. Page 1 - Title Page

2. Page 2 - Shows Panel 1 with the word tab1.

3. Page 3 - Shows the word tab1

4. Page 4 - Blank

5. Page 5 - Blank

Latest Update. It appears that the report generator is completely ignoring the fact that there is more than one panel. This is what I have been testing.

1. Selected the screen with multiple panels and selected Panel 2.

2. Duplicated the screen. This gives me a screen with the correct panel showing.

3. Added a comment to this panel.

4. Generated a report. Report shows image of Panel 1 with no comments.

Tried to set the default layer of the dynamic panel to other than Panel 1 to try to force the Specification generator to show the correct panel. No success. Specification generator completely ignores that there is more than one panel.

I'm sorry but it seems to be working fine. If I follow your instructions with the prototype I sent to you I get a PDF document with one screenshot for the screen, then a white page, and then the list of captures of all the other panels.

Victor, Is there an email address where I can send you the file that I get when running your example?

Question Resolved - The only template that has tags to print out the dynamic panels is the "All Prototype Info" template. The Print Screens template does not have this information. When I used the "All Prototype Info" template the specification report works perfectly. Guess it is time to learn how to make my own templates. Thanks for all the assistance.
