Dragging and dropping widgets into dynamic panels doesn't always produce expected results.

I was trying to recreate a collapse/expand tutorial/example from the website.

After performing all the steps mentioned in a video, my screen wasn't working. After some thinking/debugging and inspecting screen outline, I realized that even though the widgets were dragged and dropped onto the dynamic panel, they weren't placed inside the panel but rather on top of it. That's why things weren't working.

When dragging and dropping I find that sometimes items would get placed inside a panel and sometimes not and I would have to move them manually using the outline. What am I missing here? Is there an easier way to implement the intention (on top or inside)? I find this cumbersome/error-prone in screens with many panels/components/subcomponents.

You need to 'open' a dynamic panel if you want to insert things in it. That way you have both options, to place something 'inside' or to place it 'above'. Take a look at this video tutorial http://www.justinmind.com/prototyper/...
