display the corresponding values from the database for a certain value

Solved

I have a database with 5 fields.

First is the material list which I would want to display in a combo box and I am able to do so.

I am creating four text edit boxes where I would want to display the properties of the materials like density, conductivity etc.

The problem now is how can I get the corresponding properties to change in the text editbox as and when I change the material from the combo box.

Eg: Lets say I have copper, gold, aluminium. When I select copper, I would want the values 1, 2, 3, 4 displayed in the 4 different edit boxes. When I change the selection to gold, I would want the values to change to 5,6,7,8 automatically. All these values are stored in the datamaster. I know a workaround wherin I can set the values on change (of the material). Is there any simple way to go about it?

I figured it out myself. Select together with filter option does it.

Thank you.

This used to work just fine but when I checked it again today, it doesn't seem to work. The interactions have not been modified yet it does not work during simulation. I doubt if its not been working after an update from justinmind but I am not sure about it.

Do you have any clue what could possibly be causing the problem?

That's really weird. Could you send your prototype to jim dot support at justinmind dot com please? We will take a look at it.

Thank you. But looks likle it is resolved now. The problem was I used it on another machine which was running an older version of jim prototyper. Updating it to the newer version helped.
