Data masters and data grids

Solved

Data masters modifications are not made persistent. So after each action the data master is set back to the initial values even if the data grid shows other (modified) values.

This results in several problems:

a) the tutorial "Edit forms" does not work, since on the third screen the data grid shows initial (unmodified) values

b) When in this tutorial link the third screen to the first and do a "on page load" action on the first page to "modify" the data master by the variable, at least the changes are shown in the data grid. However, after selecting the modified row again, the variable gets the initial value of the data master and not the value shown in the row (i.e. the modified value).

I guess this is a bug. In general it seems that the grid shows only an instance of the master data and if its modified only this instance is modified. However, assigning a row to a variable unfortunately assigns values of the master and not of the instance and vice versa.

If it is a bug using data masters and data grids is basically impossible since you have to write enormous amount of workaround code.

If not, please explain in detail how to use them.
