Can't Share Prototype With List of Screens for Navigation

Holly Brosnahan shared this problem 4 years ago
Solved

When I view a prototype from my Usernote account or when I simulate a prototype, I see a list of the screens to the side. I like this feature, but when I get a link to share for a prototype, it doesn't seem to have that method of navigating. Am I able to get a link of a prototype to share that also includes a list of the screens on the side?

Hi Holly,

If you want that your users can see the list of the screens to the side, you have to invite them as a reviewer instead of changing your prototype as a public prototype.

Best regards.

Thanks for the information, Albert. I will use that for my current review of the prototype.

This isn't ideal for using the prototype as a tool for development, though, because we typically like to be able to include a link to the prototype within the documentation. If everyone has to be invited separately to view the prototype, it is not as easy to have a central location for everyone to find the information. I end up having to tell people to go back and search through their e-mail, and hope that they are able to find the right invitation for the related prototype.

Hi Holly,

here you will find more information about public link or reviewer view. http://justinmind.com/usernote/help/l...

if you want to have a list of your screen on one side with a public link, you can do this workaround.

1. Create a master that contains a list of all the screens of your project and link each label to the screen.

2. Add the master to your templates and set a negative x coordinate, for example the size of the master plus 5 pixels.

3. Go to "edit--> center content.." and select all the screens and templates.

Here you have an example https://www.justinmind.com/usernote/t...

Tell me if it works for your case.

Best regards.

Thanks for the information about this work-around, it sounds like a nice alternative.
