Can I get an example of how to deal with user generated input that is linked to multiple outcomes?

I am working on an app with game like interactions. The users will input words or phrases and based on that different events will occur. I cannot use drop down menus. I need the user to freely input the words.

For example if they were prompted to enter a color:

Input: Red, blue, black, azure, sky blue OR yellow Event: Go to screen A

Input: Green, pink, purple, violet, cream, brown OR white Event: Go to screen B

Input: Other input Event: Go to screen C

Is it possible to use data masters where I have all possible answers for each event listed?

Sure, I'd use a modified version of what is explained in this tutorial: http://www.justinmind.com/prototyper/...

Sorry, but I can't get that example to work for my problem. This is the situation. I have 3 sets of user responses:

A: Red, blue, black, azure, sky blue, yellow

B: Green, pink, purple, violet, cream, brown, white, grey

C: Input that doesn't match acceptable answers

If the user inputs YELLOW I want the prototype to search the data master, find yellow, understand that yellow is in group A and then proceed with the event for group A (i.e. go to screen 2).

I know I could just enter a separate condition for each possible answer but I am hoping to reduce my work and time by being able to use a data master since there will be a large number of situations like this. Also, other contributors will be submitting work and I would like to import data masters via Excel.

I have tried a whole series of different things with the data masters but nothing has worked.

Any ideas, suggestions or examples?

That works perfectly! Thanks a lot! I don't think I would have figured that out on my own.
