Are there any example files that show data masters at work?

I've been experimenting, but I think I could save some time if I could just find a definition of what "Data Masters" are. I get the impression that they would help me do things like set a few variables in a scenario set up page and then use those variables to guide navigation during the scenario. But I've tried many different approaches and I seem to be missing something rather fundamental about these things.

My scenario has a button that will make one of four pages appear depending on four different variables that are in play. I can't seem to find a way to make checkboxes use the values that are set on a set up page to change the navigation. The interface for creating conditions seems very straightforward, but I get the impression that the variables are not being updated at the time they are set.

Have you taken a look at the 'Advanced level' tutorials http://www.justinmind.com/tutorials? They are focused on explaining how the data masters work

I have followed your "Edit Forms" tutorial but it simply does not work. There seems to be an inconsistency how data masters are updated.

Or in other words, there is a bug in Version 4.6.0.

If I modify a data master and display the data grid on the same page the row will be updated. But if I go to the next page in a subsequent event the data grid still shows the unmodified data master table. If I put an "on page load" event onto the new page where I again modify the data master the table is updated on that page too. But is a real pain to keep track of variables in subsequent actions then.

You're right, it's a bug. Tomorrow we will launch an update with that fixed.

Thanks for your help and we apologize for the inconveniences.
