App crashing often

Every time I use it, it crashes several times. Usually happens when I am moving or editing items within a panel, especially when there are multiple panels. Also crashes a lot when I have other graphics programs open (which I need for getting the images for the prototype). I'm on Mac 10.6.8.

That's really bad. Could you send to jim.support at justinmind.com the Justinmind's log file please?

This issue has re-emerged really badly with the latest version. I am experiencing crashes with increasing frequency the longer I use the program. Working 8 hours a day full time with the program I have anywhere between none and 10 crashes a day depending on what I do with the program. The only fix is to save regularly and restart the program when it starts misbehaving. This is not the only issue. Modifying data master actions on events often causes a loop that can only be stopped by task manager. Again, regular saving at least avoids data loss upon a complete crash with no option to save.

And it gets worse. The longer that you use JIM the slower it becomes until it grinds to a complete halt and starts doing the weird things above. Trying to edit events becomes impossible, moving multiple selections either takes forever or causes a crash, changing format / style does the same and the only way out is to save and restart the program continuously which is not exactly a quick procedure.

On top of all this, and perhaps a clue as to what is causing all of these issues, is that Windows is regularly warning me about RAM usage issues but task manager does not show the problem. Perhaps memory leaks? Or something to do with javascript?

Other than that the new version is very good on the whole although I have not yet had the chance to try all of the new features yet. I am particularly pleased that SVG's are now supported. The drag and drop capabilities are very good for data fields and navigation and the automatically generated pages reflect changes in the data masters which is very subtle but saves an enormous amount of time.

I am disappointed that union tables are still not apparently supported, making it impossible to simulate a real life database with many to many relationships.

Error logs and screen recordings can be supplied if this is not a known issue.

Just to clarify the RAM warnings only ever occur when JIM is running. I have 6Gb and a 64 bit system and task manager indicates JIM is using between 200-400 Mb of RAM. Total RAM usage indicated in task manager is never more than 4.5 Gb. I am sure that I have come across a windows issue with RAM management that causes this in the past but cannot put my thumb on it or remember what caused it.

We've been working two weeks fixing crashes and we hope to launch an update really soon. But any screen recording you could give us would help us enormously cause reproducing a crash can take 50 times more time than fixing it. You can send any information you have to jim.support at justinmind.com

Thanks!
