After filling out a screen, how can I keep the input contents intact so they are displayed when I return to that screen?

I've built a quick prototype, an order entry process. I filled out the contents for screen 1 (text fields and a few drop down variables). I move to another screen and do some input. I try to back to screen 1 and when i do, all the input data from earlier is gone. What do I do to make the screens keep their inputted data?

Sorry, but I must be a bit slow today. So you are saying that in order to keep the input data on a particular page, I need to put it in a data master? I assume then it be retrieved from the data master when I return from another screen? I didn't understand that. I thought a text field would hold it data while you jumped from screen to screen, or maybe there was a "save" key that I didn't use. Thanks...

Hi William,

you can do it with a datamaster or variables, but the idea is the same. You need to save the information in a variable or datamaster and load in the new screen by using an "on page load" event.

Here is the example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fzrdgnyibym...

I hope it helps.
