Customize Tooltips

Select an element and enter the corresponding text in the Properties tab. If you don’t type anything, the tooltip is not displayed. It's that easy.

You can also customize your tooltips:

  • Draw its content (for example, group together a rectangle and a rich text component).
  • Select the group and mark it as Hidden in Properties so it is not displayed when you do simulations.
  • Drag any other element (in this case, an image). Select it and, in the Events tab, click the On Click option.
  • The list displayed shows all the user interactions that can be captured. Now choose On Mouse Over.
  • Add an interaction to display the group.
  • Click Simulate. Verify how your customized tooltip is displayed each time the cursor moves over the image.
