Justinmind APM Suite: Factory Server
Reduce costs and increase productivity in your software development projects
Factory Server
Factory Server generates a real web application with the prototype sent from Visual Prototyper. Factory Server generates and deploys prototypes to an Application Server and a Database Server.
Finally, key users test prototypes with their Internet browsers
Benefits
- Reduce time-to-market for your applications.
- Eliminate costs of innovation in your applications.
- Reduce resources dedicated to your proposals.
- Communicate functional requirements to the Off-shore and Outsourcing development teams.
- Increase interactivity in the initial phases of the projects between key users, consultants and analysts.
Features
Prototype repository |
Prototypes are located inside a project structure. You can save current prototypes and their old versions, and manage the lifecycle of your prototypes and versions. Finally, you can grant and deny access to your stakeholders to the deployed prototypes. |
Technology cartridges |
Factory Server is technology independent thanks to "technology cartridges". We can build a cartridge for your specific frameworks to reach your needs. Our first version comes with an out-of-the-box J2EE cartridge. In future versions, we will launch .Net and .PHP cartridges. |
Documentation generation |
| By default, Factory Server generates a specification document and the javadoc. However, we can adapt Factory Server to generate your own documentation. |
Web Application deployment |
| Factory Server deploys prototypes to the Showcase servers (Web Application Server and Database Server). The installation wizard of Factory Server installs a Showcase Server (Apache Tomcat). Showcase server requires a MySQL database. |
Showcase management |
| You can add new Showcase servers (Web Application Servers and MySQL Databases) with the Factory Manager web application. The Factory Manager application is installed by Factory Server installer. |
