Another post from our series of freebies for Justinmind Prototyper’s users: now you can start to wireframe and prototype realistic Android apps. Based on Pavel Macek’s Android GUI PSD v.1.0, I created a template, some masters and some widgets for you to download and enrich your work.

The iPhone widget library is also available on our downloads section, along with other libraries for Justinmind Prototyper.

It shows up when you click on the grey box, and hides when you click again.

It’s a master. Add it anywhere in your screen. Everything you put inside the black box will be hidden until the user clicks on the slider.

Sometimes you need to guide your users and tell them how much of the work is already done. So you can use completeness meters to simplify work. Use this widgets to have drag and drop meters, each in 10px steps. Also fully customizable.

It’s simple, but it’s always needed. A button with more information, with an arrow to open and another to close.

You can edit any element, like the button, text, everything else. The content is a container, so you can put images or anything else inside it. It’s a widget, because we’re always creating something that needs it.

Help your users improve your content! With this master, simulate a pop up comment form.

It’s programmed to work like this: you drag and drop the master anywhere on your screen. When you click on the comment text (that can be edited as you wish), the form pops up. You can connect your form to your datamasters’ fields with simple drag and drop, as also can add or delete any field you need to.

Help your users vote your content! With this widget, you can easily simulate the effect of clicking and rating in your wireframe with just a drag and drop.

It’s programmed to work like this: you click on a grey star and all of the left stars become bright yellow. You can change the images or study the events to create your own.

Hi-fi wiraframe freebie 01: Some more UX widgets for your prototypes

Today we have new widgets for you. Those are common elements in websites, and so it may help develop better prototypes. Some of them have events, for your hi-fidelity wireframes. These are:

Password strenght indicator

Click this link and download the widgets for password strenght indicator. Everyone of them is inside a container, so you can easily make them invisible until you click on your test or submit button. You can also easily edit colors or typography.

Folded menus

Click here to download the folded menus. They both have special effects. The red one shows the sub-itens when the mouse rolls over, and the white one, when you click on the link (or on the arrow icon). They can be easily edited, to change color, format, etc. Later today I’ll post a mini video tutorial on how to edit your menu.
