Justinmind has released the 2.5 version of Justinmind Prototyper (JP) for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS (Leopard), the company flagship product to design advanced wireframes and execute high-fidelity simulations of web, desktop and mobile applications. Some new key features have been added to the new version:

•    Enhanced capabilities to prototype and simulate database interactions behavior. Justinmind Prototyper allows to prototype and simulate data forms and datagrids behavior.
•    Text requirements management: Export and import text requirements from and in JP and link them to the elements on a prototype.
•    Prototype Rich Internet Applications through advanced events.  Justinmind Prototyper provides a full event interaction environment to prototype Web 2.0.
•    Dynamic navigation map. Navigation map outlines the structure of the entire project, showing all of the screens and the connections from one screen to another.
•    Advanced widgets: flash, HTML page, Website. Advanced prototyping widgets and documents (for example a PDF) can be introduced now into any screen.
•    Look and feel configuration improvements. Advanced look & feel design features to generate high fidelity prototypes.
•    Document Generation enhancements. User Defined Templates allow selecting what kind of information must be included in specification documents, and fine-tune document look&feel.
•    Powerful application simulator. Our Instant Simulation feature saves your time and turn JP into a much more productive environment.
•    Dynamic template Designer. Through masters and templates a prototype can be designed in short time.

Least but not less, some bugs have been solved, performance has enhanced and other little improvements have been integrated, for example the full-screen mode, suitable to visualize mobile prototype (iPhone or Windows Mobile simulations). In this release all User Interface elements (screens, requirements, etc.) can be categorized using customized colors and labels.

All new features have been added preserving JP ease-of-use and full-drag&drop philosophy.

With this new release you can simulate interactive mockups, even with real data, before starting the project development. Demonstrate how the final application will behave to your customers, test users and IT suppliers. Simulation technology helps you cut costs avoiding dramatic changes at the final stages of your projects.
